Where the Magic Happens...

Tervetuloa Hysteria Publishingin upouudelle työhuoneelle, jossa soi parhaillaan Björk. Hysteria aloitti taipaleensa ollessamme vielä viattomia kuvataideopiskelijoita, ja nyt kokeilemme onneamme Pyynikin trikoolla - paikassa, joka vilisee mitä kummallisimpia hahmoja. Paikka hurmasi meidät heti, vai olivatko ne sittenkin paikassa aiemmin majaa pitäneen pianonvirittäjän kummalliset soitinten ruodot ja mutaatiot? Toivomme pitävämme tuota erikoista energiaa yllä myös Hysterian valtakaudella. Meidän lisäksemme työhuoneella vaikuttaa myös Bertta, huonekasvi ja sitä vartioiva, nimettömäksi jäänyt tiikeri.

Welcome to the brand new Hysteria Publishing office, where we are currently enjoying the music of Björk. Hysteria began its journey while we were still innocent art students, and now we are trying our luck at the old Pyynikki Trikoo factory - which is abuzz with the most interesting characters. The place stole our hearts the minute we walked in, or maybe it was the odd mutations of musical instruments, that the piano tuner (the previous inhabitant) had lying around? We hope to preserve the strange energy also during Hysteria's reign. Besides us, the workspace belongs to Bertta, the plant and an anonymous tiger.

Tapahtumien yö // The Great Nocturnal Happening

Tapahtuipa kerran elokuussa; Hysteria Publishing vietti Tapahtumien yötä ei-niin-salaisessa paikassa, tamperelaisessa kirjakauppa Bukrassa. Osallistujia riitti etenkin putiikin ulkopuolella, mutta sehän ei menoamme liikaa hidastanut. Tapasimme muutaman fanin, arvoimme elämäntarkoituksia ja freestailasimme takahuoneessa kilpaa oikeiden räppäreiden tahdissa. Saimme osaksemme vain kummastelevia katseita - onneksi emme joutuneet battleen! Hysteria Publishing haluaakin kiittää kaikkia vieraita. Tapahtumarikasta todellakin - loppuillasta hysteerikot osallistuivat eläimellisiin menoihin...

Once upon an August; Hysteria Publishing spent the Great Nocturnal Happening in a not-so-secret location, the Bukra bookstore in Tampere. Participants were numerous, especially outside the boutique, but it didn't slow us down. We met a few fans, gave away meanings of life and had a freestyle session at the backstage to the beat of the real rappers. We received some bad eye - luckily there was no rap battle! Hysteria Publishing would like to thank all guests. The nocturnal happening was certainly great - in the small hours, the hysterics participated in some beastly behaviour...

Tomorrow, on the 5th of August, the city of Tampere turns into the most glorious of late summer night butterflies, as the Great Nocturnal Happening takes place! The nocturnal hotspots include museums, galleries and bookstores among others. Take a look at the programme!
